Information Miles collects

Email address, first and last name, residence country, desired departure airport, dream destination country, travel style, subscription status, email engagement and the technical information needed to operate the service. If you report that you booked a fare, you may optionally provide booking price, traveler count, a note and permission to quote that note.

Marketing measurement is on by default. Miles may receive campaign identifiers, browser attribution parameters and similar advertising-measurement data unless you opt out below or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.

Travel preferences help Miles understand subscriber interests and demand for other airports. They are not sent to Meta. Funnel events record steps and which required fields were left incomplete, never field values or keystrokes.

How it is used

To send fare alerts and onboarding emails, operate Free and Premium access, process payments, prevent abuse, measure product performance, respond to support requests and improve which fares Miles sends.

Service providers

Miles uses infrastructure and service providers for hosting, database operations, email delivery, payments and measurement. Current services may include Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Stripe and advertising or analytics platforms where configured.

Payments

Payment-card details are handled by Stripe or another payment processor and are not stored directly by Miles.

Optional purchase measurement

New checkouts do not request permission to share purchase details with Meta. For checkouts where you previously gave separate purchase-measurement permission, Miles may share your purchase amount and currency, hashed email, browser and click identifiers, IP address and browser information with Meta to measure Miles ads. Global Privacy Control and your marketing opt-out still take priority. You can turn marketing tracking off below.

Product analytics

Miles uses Microsoft Clarity to record interactions on all public Miles pages to help improve them. Recordings are on by default unless you previously turned them off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can turn them off below without affecting your flight alerts.

Page text and images are visible in recordings. Anything typed into form fields, such as your email address and name, is masked, and input-value fraud checks are disabled. Before recording starts, Miles removes everything after the page path from the recorded address, so links, codes and email addresses in a URL are never recorded. Admin pages and private fare links are excluded, and Stripe’s payment page is run by Stripe, where Clarity does not load.

Clarity receives page content and interaction activity, browser details and connection information such as IP address. Clarity sets two first-party cookies (_clck and _clsk) to link the pages of one visit into a single session recording, so these recordings are not anonymous. Miles does not send Clarity your email address or identify you by your subscriber account.

Clarity analytics storage is on so pages can be linked into one visit. Advertising storage remains off. Microsoft documents that denied advertising storage prevents Clarity from sharing data with Microsoft Ads. See its consent documentation, Clarity terms and privacy statement.

Your opt-out is remembered in this browser when storage is available. Global Privacy Control keeps recordings off. Turning them off deletes the Clarity cookies, stops future recording and reloads a recorded page when your preference was saved. It does not erase recordings already sent.

Booking links

When you leave Miles for an airline, flight-search service or booking provider, that third party's privacy practices apply.

Email choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribing stops Miles fare emails and cancels queued onboarding messages associated with that subscription.

Questions or deletion requests

Reply to any Miles email with your request. Miles will use the email address you contacted from to locate the relevant subscriber record.
